My resume and other files are formatted in a number of ways. For screen viewing, the best choice is usually HTML.

To print, download, or send a file to others, PDF is more appropriate. Also, PostScript (PS) and DVI files are excellent formats for printing.

The Adobe Reader software, used to view PDF files, can be downloaded from www.adobe.com. GSview and Ghostscript can view PDF and PS files (obtained here). Both PS and DVI files can be sent directly to a printer.
