• Process and regulatory evaluation and bench scale study of best available process technologies for major expansion of Lee County's Green Meadows WTP; responsible for field testing and bench scale testing; process evaluation and selection; water use permit renewal.
• Technical consultant for Englewood Water District RO WTP and WRF expansion projects.
• Technical consultant for Fort Myers RO WTP wellfield expansion and improvement project.
• Project manager for Bonita Springs Utilities WRF 2006 operating permit renewal; 2006 and 2007 Annual Engineering Reports; Lime Softening WTP water use permit renewal; other RO WTP studies and process improvements.
• Responsible for construction permitting services for Marco Island Utilities North WTP finished water storage expansion; other RO WTP studies and process improvements.

• In charge of engineering study for upgrades to Burnt Store RO WTP, including operational troubleshooting; selection of replacement membranes; injection well pump station, capacity analysis study and expansion planning. Developed Reuse Master Plan for Burnt Store WWTP service area.
• Designed SBR wastewater treatment facility to meet NYC Watershed regulations for Town of Patterson, NY, including tertiary treatment with Microfiltration and UV disinfection. Responsible for project management, process design, developing project costs, specifications, engineering drawings, regulatory permitting, and construction services.
• Managed engineering services and startup of first DualSand filtration system installed for the NYC Watershed WWTP Upgrade Program at the Watchtower Educational Center, Patterson, NY. Developed O&M budgets; responsible for operator training, startup troubleshooting and design modifications.

• Developed UF membrane-based, used metalworking fluid reclamation process and business, which tripled revenues at the first site where the process was implemented.
• Developed 0.8 MGD UF/RO membrane-based process for zero-liquid-discharge treatment of refinery wastewater, and RO membrane-based process for removal of selenium from refinery phenolic stripped sour water.
• Co-developed 2.0 MGD RO membrane-based process to reclaim oil field produced water; received corporate Outstanding Contributor award.
• Co-developed novel polyimide membranes for separation of CO2 from natural gas, and field-tested to demonstrate its superiority to commercially available membranes
 

• Field-tested and proved the use of NF membrane technology for removing oil from offshore produced water prior to discharge to the ocean.
• Developed RO membrane process for removing salt and ammonia from coal gasifier wastewater, which allowed water to be recycled or biologically treated.
 
• Designed and piloted homogeneous catalyst partial oxidation process for dimethyl carbonate production, and heterogeneous catalyst process for higher alcohols production from synfuels.
• Scaled up fermentation and ultrafiltration separation processes for biopolymers used in oil field water flooding.
• Project manager for coal liquefaction pilot plant research and operations; desktop engineering studies for shale oil retorting process improvements.
