Hi! I'm Sariba
(well, not really, but you can't be too safe) and I would like to tell
you about
EXTRASOLAR
PLANETS! .
Perhaps I should start with a date;
October 1996
That's the day the first Extrasolar planet was found. It circled a star called 51Pegasus in the Pegasus constellation (brilliant, eh?). 51Pegasus is a VARIABLE star. Possible names for this planet include Bellephron. This is relevant because, according to Greek Myth, Bellephron was the tamer of the winged horse Pegasus (51Pegasus, Pegasus, Bellephron? Get it? Get it? Oh nevermind!)
Since then, somewhere between 30 and 200 new extrasolar planets have been found!

a really good map, marking the location of some Extrasolar Planets)

make this all up; here's the sites that I got my informaiton from, to whom
I owe most credit.)

that confusing astro-jargon)

related, but still neat)
