MINI    KISS MINIKISS was born 5 years ago when Joey, a.k.a. "Mini-Gene", a musician and veteran in the "little person" entertainment industry, became fixated on coming up with a music-driven “little person” group. Being a musician, serious metalhead, & Kiss fan for many years, Joey gathered together a couple of his buddies to come out in full Kiss drag to perform at a club for a Halloween bash in NYC. It was such a huge hit that the DJ wouldn't stop playing Kiss tunes all night, and the 4 "little men" in Kiss gear became the focal point of the party.

superstar: The Karen Carpenter Story Superstar: The Karen Carpenter Story by writer/director Todd Haynes  is one of the more famous suppressed films of recent years.  Combining high camp and serious drama, this movie depicts the life of Karen Carpenter including  her battle with anorexia with a slight twist - all of the parts are played by Ken and Barbie dolls.  But, apparently Haynes never secured the rights to the Carpenters' music he used in the movie, and Richard Carpenter filed an injunction that kept Superstar from public release. The short film  barely even got a year's worth of film festival time before  A&M Records and Mattel sued Todd Haynes for illegally using "Carpenters" songs, and for using Mattel Barbie dolls in the film.  The movie is illegal to sell, or distribute, and is out of circulation, although hundreds of bootleg copies exist.
