Their Majesties King Mihai and Queen Ana of Romania will participate at the inauguration of King Ferdinand’s bust in Timisoara on December 1, 1998- transmits AR Press. The Statue will be placed downtown close to the Metropolitan Cathedral which was founded with the support of the Romanian Royal Family more than fifty years ago. With the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Romania’s unification, on First of December, the Timisoara City Council will launch 100 medals which will present an image showing the Romanian Royal Army triumphantly marching through the city’s Unification Square, on December 2, 1918.
