Saturday October 3, 1998, at Versoix, Switzerland, in the presence of His Majesty The King, took place the Ceremony during which HM Queen Ana of Romania was awarded the Grand Cross "Dame of Honour and Devotion"  of  The Sovereign Order of Malta.
HRH Princess Margareta and her husband, Mr Radu Duda, assisted to this ceremony. On the behalf of the Sovereign Order of  Malta were present Their Excellencies Count Don Carlo Marullo di Condojanni, Prince of Casalnuovo, The Grand Chancellor and The Keeper of the Common Treasure, Mr Paolo Francesco, Master of Ceremony and Mr Carlo Fedele, the Ambassador of the Order at the United Nations.
One year ago, His Majesty King Mihai of Romania also received the  High Order of Knight of Honour and Devotion.
