Their Majesties King Mihai I and Queen Ana, accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Margareta and His Royal Highness Prince Radu, will arrive in Romania on Friday, May 18, 2001, following a previous invitation made by the Romanian President, Mr Ion Iliescu. Other members of the Royal Families will be joining Their Majesties latter. Their Majesties wish to visit The Romanian Modern Art Gallery *, since they could not participate at the reopening of this gallery.

Also, His Majesty the King has accepted with pleasure the invitation made by His Excellency President Ion Iliescu to have dinner together with their Families. Further details regarding the schedule of His Majesty's visit are in the process of being finalized together with the Romanian Authorities. These details will be made public at a later time.
