Thanks to Harold Slavik, Commander, and Dave Burkett of the Baker Post of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, the cemetery has now been surveyed in order to identify all possible Civil War Veterans (Union & Confederate).
Their service has been confirmed and their names are being added to the SUVCW National Graves Registration Project.
THANK YOU!
"The SUVCW National Graves Registration Project was established in 1996.Since then, hundreds of dedicated people from within and without our Order have graciously devoted thousands of hours of their time and energy visiting cemeteries, recording, verifying, researching and entering the final resting places of Civil War veterans."
