Social (partnership) dance classes starting soon, taught by Dance Partners instructor Cathy Hempstead, and sponsored by Bloomington Parks & Rec (BPR), Heartland Community College (HCC), and Dance Partners Studio (DPS). We've been teaching ballroom, Latin and nightclub dance classes for adults in Bloomington, Illinois for 12 years, and we'd love to have you join us.

Starting in September:
Fall in Love With Dancing. Celebrate fall with an evening of dessert and dancing. Enjoy an assortment of light desserts, then dance off those calories. We'll offer introductory lessons in several romantic slow dances throughout the evening, and provide "danceable" music for you and your partner to enjoy all evening long. $25 per couple; advanced registration required. About our studio:
Sometimes studio-sponsored classes are planned on short notice, in order to accommodate students' requests; please watch this site for updates. These classes - as well as some HCC and BPR courses - meet in our ballroom studio at 1401 Tralee Lane in southeast Bloomington, where we've installed a fabulous maple dance floor. Please don't plan to wear street shoes (shoes which have been worn outside, ever) -- or shoes with rubber soles and/or heels -- on our dance floor. You may bring suede-soled ballroom dance shoes, suede-soled house shoes, or dance in socks. Thanks for your help in taking care of our dance floor.
Please register for classes at least 10 days prior to start dates. To register for BPC or HCC classes, please follow the links below. To register for studio-sponsored classes, please send full payment -- along with name, address, and phone number of each registrant, and the name of the course for which you are registering -- to Dance Partners, 1401 Tralee Ln, Bloomington, IL 61704.
All courses are considered tentative, until adequate enrollment levels are determined 10 days prior to start date; enrollments for studio classes that are not registered and paid 10 days in advance are uncertain, and will incur an additional $10 "late registration" fee. Typical Minimum Enrollment = 14; Maximum = 30.
