SJ:
You're pretty much on your own.
While we have the most comprehensive listings available anywhere, we know that we miss
some companies that operate entirely within the bounds of their native country and for
which we have no comprehension of the language at all. I suspect that would be true of
Malaysia, as well.
I suspect that there are no publications that address the issue of markets in a
comprehensive way, either. I'm certainly not aware of any. The best you may be able to do
is search local databases such as Malaysian newspapers, magazines, etc., for articles on
the subject. That might turn up leads and more companies. Also, get in touch with GARPA
(Global Alliance of RP Assoc.). They might have some suggestions or can point you to local
organizations. Use the site search feature on our web site to locate them.
Then, from there you need to do marketing 101: Talk to potential customers, find out
what they're doing today and what their future needs are.
