A good site to find new products or to find out what's going on from a marketing perspective.

GlobalSpec.com. Air compressors, electric motors, bearings, bar code scanners and other engineering products. Said to provide access to over 590,000 electrical, mechanical and optical components. But, you gotta register (free) before they show you any data.

MotionNET.com. An engineering directory with very deep coverage, and a fast loading interface for associations, engineering resources, manufacturers, distributors, publishers, trade journals, etc.

Thomas Register of American Manufacturers. A basic resource listing thousands of companies and products. Free registration is required to use most resources.
