WHAT A WHIRLWIND TRIP--WE NEED A REST!!

(I kind of "ran out of gas" on picture taking towards the end of our visit -- sorry if I didn't get you captured!)

Our friends Anna and Angelo were one of the first people to arrange a get together -- it was so good to see a familiar face and have a real home cooked meal! As you can tell, we wasted no time getting into the party spirit!
It was the clever Tom and Betty Mock who won the prize for naming the Rolling White House. The print of a watercolor of THE White House -- with carriages "rolling" by, seemed an appropriate memento! A wonderful evening with Tom and Betty before they left on vacation -- and another yummy home cooked meal!
A real haircut!! Boy did I need to see Brian - I had not had a cut since early September and looked like a Sheep Dog - but as time grew closer to going home, I didn't want to spoil his "fun"! Looking good now!
The Girl's Golf Gang after our Annual Winter Bowling Party (they changed the date just so I could be there -- Thanks gals!). We had our usual bad bowling and perfect pizza party.
I snuck into the December Investment Club meeting, even though I am on a leave of absence, just to check in on my money. It was perfect for the holidays -- not much business and lots of laughs (kind of like the market since I've left!) in Kathy's amazingly decorated house.
The Ya Ya's Christmas Lunch -- always fun to catch up with my best Lucent (now Avaya) girlfriends. Lots of catching up to do on weddings past and future, new grand baby's, and other juicy tidbits from Patty, Nancy and Lee.
My Baby turned 30! A little surprise party before the big day (Dec. 25!) and a chance to see the Christmas ships in the harbor out at their house at Jantzen Beach made a fun evening.
The Dahlquists found a great Italian Restaurant in Salem that we just had to take a road trip to enjoy! As you can tell, the wine was great!! The food was also delicious and we had a rollicking good evening with Terry and Haley!
Haley decided she needed MORE company on Christmas Eve, and that Phil, Mom and I needed to enjoy our evening with them! We had a nice time with her family -- and another home cooked meal before they all headed for Sunriver. Thanks for feeding "the homeless"!
Christmas morning with the Grand kids -- always a time of fun and chaos. As usual, they were overwhelmed with their "loot" and we were exhausted from the frenzy! Nick and Jack get Christopher's help undoing their giant blocks from "Grammie and Wookies".
Maddie, Jack and Nick can't wait to open the presents, so they just piled under the tree with the presents!
Mom helps Megan decorate herself with all the bows and ribbons from the packages - she (typical kid) enjoyed that as much as the gifts!
Christmas afternoon brought more relatives and a visit to the Kozowski clan. Lynne makes sure their is enough food on the buffet to feed all the homeless people, in addition to the family!!
Jeff and Phil discuss old age or something sitting around the fire. Actually they were probably going over the finer points of their latest golf rounds!
"Sing for your Supper" was the word of the evening at the Bowles New Year's Eve party. Actually, Cathy was the only one who could sing, so the rest of us had to make something else up! Joe Moran waits his turn to recite his clever poem based upon the attendees. Our Great American Adventure Travel Trivia was a hit too.
Everyone watches as Tom Becic, in his tux, tried to fool the ever vigilant Randy with his card tricks! The guy is good! It must have been something in the Tux!
Randy and Phil console Gary Cumpston for moving to Seattle -- away from this crazy group! Actually, they made me take this picture so they could get the "instant gratification" of the digital camera picture!
Newlyweds Craig and Lisa Fergus expound to Phil on the intricacies of their culinary contribution to the dinner. Craig was sure that with the apron on, he could handle it without Lisa's help -- she's not so sure!
The MAC Club was the location chosen for the get together of some of our couples golf friends. The camaraderie and golf stories were fabulous, and the wine flowed -- even as the waiter seemed to forget we were there!
All still newlyweds on their second (or more) marriages! All of us married less than 10 years, and all love golf! A fun evening with Jean and Gary Sowles, John and Jackie Thelan, and TJ and Sue Llewelyn. We're all looking forward to the return of warm weather golf!
Nicholas loves to ham it up for Grammie's camera at their new house in Snoqualmie (he can even say it!). At almost 3, he is practicing to become the next Willie or something.
Phil Jr. and fiance' Jen cuddle up on the couch at Andrea and Christopher's new house. It was great meeting her and seeing pictures of the house they are building nears Steven's Pass.
My niece, Jana, and her "main squeeze" Brad, ham it up for the camera at dinner. Think my battery had about died in the camera, but their big smiles brightened the scene!
Daddy and the kids, Nick and Maggie, give a smile for the camera. Maggie was awfully busy with her Ice Cream to be bothered with Grammie taking pictures!
Dad gives pearls of wisdom to Phil and Jen. I don't think they're buying it!
All "the boys" lined up on the couch on a Sunday Morning -- what do you imagine they are doing???? If you guessed FOOTBALL, of course you'd be right!
Grammie and Andie entertain the kids during dinner. They were so good. Nick was totally fascinated with being able to see himself right away in the pictures -- he'll never be the same!
