Subject: WPAT Mix Circa 1962<p>

I used to tape WPAT when they would have a series. That is, they 
would play the same some in different styles (vocal, instrumental, 
jazz) and kind of "splice" them together, on a theme (Italian, Jewish, 
Russian, etc) that would last for about 30 minutes. I only have one 
of these on tape, the rest were lost.<br>

If you called WPAT, they would tell you the album that the song they 
played came from. I bought Irving Field's "Bagels and Bongos" album 
that way.<p>

WPAT's programming was well thought out and inovative.<br>

This is the only surviving WPAT tape. I have split the file into several
pieces to allow it to pass through the e mail system.<p>

You can put the sections back together with PKZIP 8.1.<p>
