This is the authentic song that was played at the beginning and the end of the Gaslight Revue program in the 50's and 60's. There are 3 different versions that aired which will be rotated from time to time here. All 3 versions can be heard in 1964 Part 1 above.

WPAT AM AND FM AIRCHECK [DEC.1980]
The selection above is an aircheck of WPAT with AM on left, FM on right about 1 hour. You can listen to one speaker at a time or try to listen to both. This will sound somewhat like being in WPAT studio. Note how the commercials on AM are also on FM with a few minutes delay between. Note how music on AM is different from FM except for the Christmas music which is the same but delayed. The left and right you hear were recorded at the exact same time, the delay comes from the separate tapes for each station. You may be able to hear the low cue tones at the end of each set. WPAT, 93 AM, 93 FM!
