Ashlee is a 17 yr old Junior at Mountain Ridge High School, in Glendale, Arizona. She is a member of the National Honor Society and was recently inducted into the Female Scholars Association and ranks in the top 8% of her class with a 4.21 GPA.
She is entering her 4th year as a level 10 gymnast and has won many titles in that time. Her proudest moment was winning floor at the Level 10 Junior Olympic National Championships in 2002. She is also a 2 time Region 1 Floor Champion and 3 time State All Around Champion.
Ashlee is coached by Mike Payne, Donna Payne and Jerry Hinkle. Here's what her coach, Mike has to say about her: "Beyond being a great gymnast, Ashlee is a wonderful person. She is always pulling for her teammates and tries to encourage them if their having trouble. She is a very quick, bouncy type gymnast and is one of the best twisters I've ever seen."
Ashlee's is looking forward college. She has always wanted to earn a gymnastics scholarship and compete for a college team.
