NO INDOOR COURTS
Due to the high volume of indoor winter leagues that begin in mid-September, there will be no indoor courts available in the event of inclement weather. If weather delays occur, modified match formats will be implemented.TOURNAMENT SITES
Players should plan to provide their own transportation or make arrangements to travel to the tournament sites. The FINALS will be played at WAKEFIELD RECenter on Monday, 21 September 1998.WAKEFIELD RECENTER

DIRECTIONS FROM DUPONT CIRCLE
Proceed west on P Street. Turn left onto 23rd Street and follow it to Constitution Avenue (taking care not to get lost going around Washington Circle). Turn right onto Constitution Avenue (one block before the Lincoln Memorial) and go across the Roosevelt Bridge. Once on the bridge, get in the left lane and follow the signs for 1-66 West. Stay on 1-66 for about 10 miles and exit on 1-495 South (the Beltway) towards Richmond. Follow the directions below.
DIRECTIONS FROM VIRGINIA:
Follow 1-495 (the Beltway) to Braddock Road West
(Exit 5). At the first traffic light, turn right at the wooden sign that
says "Wakefield Park" (Queensberry Street). Follow this street past the
parking lots for the softball fields to the recreation center parking lot
on the left. The tennis courts are on the right side of the parking lot.

DIRECTIONS FROM DUPONT CIRCLE:
Proceed east on Massachusetts Avenue and turn right on 14th Street. (There is heavy traffic on 14th St. so allow yourself extra time.) After crossing the Mall, turn right on Independence Avenue. Go one block and turn left on 15th Street (also known as Raoul Wallenberg Place). Go one block and you will be forced to veer left at a traffic light. As soon as you veer left, veer right toward the Jefferson Memorial. Get in the left lane, and as soon as you go over a small bridge, take the first left on Ohio Drive. (There will be a small sign that will indicate that East Potomac Park and Tennis is to the left.) After going under three overpasses, the tennis courts will be on your right . Go to the stop sign and turn right to get into the parking lot.
If you miss the left turn onto Ohio Drive, don't panic. Stay to your right, don't get on I395, and go toward the Jefferson Memorial. After passing the Jefferson Memorial, you will see a sign for East Potomac Park. Follow this road as it winds through the park by the river. When you come to a stop sign, turn left. After a short distance, the tennis courts and parking lot will be on your left.
DIRECTIONS FROM VIRGINIA:
Follow I395 north into D.C. After crossing
the Potomac River, stay on I395 and take the first exit (the East Potomac
Park exit). At the first stop sign, turn left. The parking
lot and tennis courts are on your left.
DIRECTIONS FROM WAKEFIELD RECENTER:
Get on I495 east toward Richmond. Get in the
left lane and exit onto I395 north toward Washington. Follow I395
north into D.C. After crossing the Potomac River, stay on I395 and
take the first exit (the East Potomac Park exit). At the first stop
sign, turn left. The parking lot, outdoor tennis and indoor courts
are on your left.
DRAW PARTY - WINDOWS
The Draw Party will be held at WINDOWS, a bar located in the heart of gay Dupont Circle at 1637-1641 17th Street, NW (202.328.3222), at the corner of 17th and R Streets, NW. the Draw Party will be held from 7.00P - 10.00P, during which time you can meet your doubles partner, housing host or just catch up with old friends. WINDOWS will offer CCVI participants drink specials throughout the night. Conveniently situated atop an Italian restaurant, you can dine at The Italian Kitchen before you experience the Dupont night life.METRO: Dupont Circle Station - Red Line.
BANQUET SITE & HOST HOTEL - EMBASSY ROW HILTON
The banquet will be held at the Embassy Row Hilton at 2015 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, at the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and 20th Street, NW. Beginning at 7.00P, join your fellow CCVI participants for drinks and hors d’oeuvres on the Embassy Row Hilton rooftop, overlooking the Washington skyline, then proceed to the main ballroom for dinner at 8.00P.METRO: Dupont Circle Station - Red Line.
