Due to the commencement of many indoor winter
leagues, no indoor facilities will be available in the event of inclement
weather. Modified set formats, i.e. eight game pro-sets, will be instituted
in the event that inclement weather causes delays.
D R A W
The draw will be made about two weeks before the
tournament. The final date is TBD. You may obtain the times and places
for your first round singles and doubles matches at the registration party
on Thursday, 16 September 1999. Also, the CC7 Confirmation Letter will
provide details on the time and place of your first round singles and doubles
matches.
S E E D I
N G
Capital Classic 7 will seed players according to
the GLTA point system. Final authority to determine seeding rests with
the Tournament Direcctor.
S C H E D
U L E
Play will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, Saturday,
and Sunday. The finals of all divisions will be played on Sunday.

Capital Classic 7 will be played according to USTA
rules, unless superseded out of necessity by the Tournament Director. Singles
and doubles matches will be the best two-out-of-three sets, regular scoring,
with 12-point tie breaks at six games all. In case of rain, matches may
be abbreviated and moved indoors.

L A T I O N M A T C H E S
Consolation round matches, except for consolation
finals, will be eight-game pro sets with 12-point tie breaks played at
seven games all. Consolation finals will be the best two-out-of-three sets,
regular scoring, with 12-point tie breaks at six games all.

It is your responsibility to know when your match
begins.
Defaults will be called
15 minutes after the scheduled time of play. Players not arriving
within this 15-minute period, even if a court is not available for their
match, will be defaulted. No exceptions!
The player who is available for the match will be
informed that they have received a default. The player will not be asked
if they want to accept the default nor will a request to play the match
be granted.
