Toy Donation Day - August 4, 2007

It was a very wonderful sunny day on the 4th of August, 2007 when volunteers Lisa and Wayne came with a big bag of donated toys for the dogs of Canisolida. The toys had belonged to a cherished family dog, a Weimeraner named Dominique, who had passed away four years earlier, but was still deeply missed by her family. Dominique's owner saved her toys in hopes that one day she might find a dog(s) in need that they could be given to. Dominique also enjoyed a large wicker bed that was given to the Canisolida Foster Home as well. We are so grateful to have been the recipient of these wonderful gifts. The dogs of Canisolida are enjoying the toys every day. We even made a toy tray so that we could keep them all tidied up at the end of every day. Thank you, Barbara, for this very thoughtful donation in memory of your beloved dog, Dominique!!!
