Available Dogs - More detail...
1. Zoe Born on August 5th, 2009, Zoe is a beautiful mastiff/shepherd mix puppy who is
fully up to date on her vet care for her age (meaning she has yet to undergo her spay when she attains the proper
age). Zoe's coat is a gorgeous fawn color, she has a sweetly blackened mask, and her ears are perked in an upright
position. She is just darling and is very sweet, giving love and kisses to you when you snuggle with her. Zoe is
in a wonderful foster home who is socializing her with other dogs, cats, and people in a variety of settings. Zoe
is naturally inclined to be a bit shy in her personality when she meets new people at first, but........ Read more
about Zoe and see more wonderful pictures of her at this

2. Faith Faith is a beautiful Mastiff/Shepherd
mix that wieghs in at approx. 70# and is approximately 6 years old. She is completely housebroken and has never
had an accident in her foster home. She is a very sweet girl who loves to play with stuffed animals and squeaky
toys. The highlight of her day is the walk she takes with her foster mom's son. She has quite a bit of energy...Click here to read more about pretty girl Faith.
3. Milo Milo is being fostered in DAYTON, Ohio. Milo is a 14 month old male puggle. He
is a happy and healthy lil guy weighing in at a whopping 22 pounds. He is getting a good nutritional food and I
expect him to put on a few pounds. He loves to be with his people and would benefit from having another k-9 buddy
in his new "fur-ever" home.....click

I Want To Talk, by Cindy Wieland, written on December 22nd 2009
I want to talk
To the man who ties his dog outside, dog-lovers he will mock
I'd love to talk
To the puppy & kitty-miller who is ever conscience of the buck
Say, I am mad
At the one who says until disproven, every dog is bad
I'd like to cry
To the woman who says the shock-collar's going to be given a try
There is no place for common sense when it comes to a pet I guess
We struggle with our own issues; our pets have to endure the ruse
When someone who is genuine in compassion toward earth's animals
Take time to praise them as the selfless person that they are
I wanna shout
To the overspending person who says keeping Fido's out
Can I just say
Hey, walk your dog twice 'round the block on this nice day
I had a thought
The overpopulation of companion animals we can solve
Oh it pains me
To think of all the rejected pets of human society
There is no place for common sense when it comes to a pet I guess
We struggle with our own issues; our pets have to endure the ruse
If you're inclined to work on this to see plus sign results
I tip my hat with good respect for your efforts with no fault
Let's get it right
The time is now that we can see and understand
How to achieve
The simple virtue of endearing our pets while they live
Their entire lives
Which we made sure were lived with grace and quality
I do say now
Let's be a nation proud to say we care for our companion animals
