Gabby................Brother

More pictures of Gabby and Brother appear after their biography.

Gabby and Brother are 10 month old Saint Bernard siblings. Both are altered and are completely up to date on all vet care. They are both very healthy and fit and exceed 100 pounds each and will be getting larger. They are friendly, EXCELLENT with cats (they adore the kitties in their foster home), are accustomed to living with other dogs, and each does a basic sit on command. Leash manners and recall is a work in progress that you will need to continue. Both are housebroken, but may have a few boo boos as they get settled into the routines of their adoptive home. FENCED YARD REQUIRED, as they do like to take off and explore. As young energetic large dogs, Gabby and Brother need an attentive owner who will ensure they get lots of stimulation daily in the form of exercise, positive training, and of course, love and affection. Both are good couch potatoes when tired and will provide excellent warmth in the winter :) Both have met children and have done very well, but they do not live with children on a daily basis. So working them through a proper socialization process with your children will be an important process if you have children and due to their size and energy level, we suggest no children under 12 years of age.

Gabby and Brother are being fostered in West Virginia and their foster mom does not have the electronics to post pictures, etc. on the internet. The pictures you see here are of the dogs while on a visit to Canisolida Mastiffs Foster and Retirement Home in Alliance, Ohio. They were great dogs to meet - we had a great time with them and took some wonderful pictures. We even took a video of them which can be seen at their petfinder listing and also at www.youtube.com/canisolida.

Gabby and Brother can be adopted together or separately. We believe experience with the breed or with big dogs in general would be a plus. Their foster mom thinks that perhaps there could be Great Pyrenees in them as well. Gabby has a lot more white in her coat than Brother.
