THERE'S ALWAYS HOPE... (I HOPE...)

is it too much to ask
for someone to be
honest
sincere
crazy about me

is it too much to want
to be loved unconditionally
by someone who loves what I love
symbiotically

isn't that the natural way
isn't that the way to survive
finding the ideal nurturing
optimizing being alive

yet I see most people seem to compromise
holding back desires and swallowing lies
and like dominoes one by one they fall
what do you expect ignoring natures call

is it too much to ask
for someone to be
attracted
reactive
exactly for me

is it too much to want
to be wanted irresistably
by someone who embodies my
fondest fantasy

isn't that the natural way
to trust yourself instinctively
to find the ideal nurturing
what to eat, how to love, who to be

have we come so far from the womb
that we can see nothing but the tomb
and a promise of a heaven after death
that allows us to waste our life's breath

it makes no sense
you know you are lying
  so you consume another poison...
no wonder this world is dying

my fantasy
is being free
living naturally
at peace with natures ways

is it too much to ask
for someone to be
in touch with life
and not blinded by
the games society plays

is it too much to want
to be healthy and aware
feeling all we can feel
caring all we can care
is it too much to ask
to share

isn't that the natural way
for those who survive
mother feeds her young
keeping life alive

did our intellectual fears
overcome our instincts
is that why one man smokes
and another man drinks

it makes no sense
you know you are lying
  you give up on life...
no wonder your babies are crying

my fantasy
is being free
living naturally
at peace with natures ways

and sharing it all
with someone like me
living completely
dancing to the music life plays

living the natural way
being the natural way
caring the natural way
sharing the natural way
