I have been around the block a few times
still I don't know what is going on
everytime I think I've found someone to trust with everything
I look around and find everything is gone
so am I just a fool
to believe I these words I write
will matter to you enough
to come over tonight
and am I just a fool
to believe in romance
to think that someone will come along
and give me one more chance
to learn how to love
to learn how to share
to remember how
to trust and care
and sensitivity
of a innocent soul
