well, two years ago on the day before Christmas I went out and took a low pay high hours job that consumed the following eleven months and allowed me to take off the past year (which should have been just half a year off, actually)... it was a nice present from Santa I gave myself, though it was a rather empty year... and this year I am holding out for better pay so I don't have to work ninety hours a week and might actually return to living life...

I know it's out there somewhere...

anyway, this year I'll just have to find Santa after Christmas for my new job present... not too far after though... meanwhile, today a few more calls came in... two more MLM commission sales jobs, one I already had turned down... and one message from a recruiter out of Indianapolis about a state director position... might be nice... this one doesn't pay as much as the executive director job but sounds like it might have more responsibility attached... I left a message for the recruiter and hopefully we'll get to talk on Tuesday... and we shall see if any of the other positions contact me... so how are you?...

heading into this holiday week not working wasn't exactly how I might have wanted this process to go... so it gives me more time to sit here rambling on as I'm not going out to do much... make the best of it... right...

and remember, there's always hope...
