no sleep last night... I dove into the online job search head first and didn't come up until morning... and half an hour after I disconnected from the net, the phone started ringing... eight calls before noon... considering that I spent most of the last 24 hours steadily searching and sending out resumes (more than 100), I'd probably be bummed if the phone did ring... but as usual, the initial calls are mostly fly by night sales type jobs that maybe pay after a while...

five of the eight were unacceptible, the typical come on for an MLM or weak commission sales job or minimum wage... three are set for interviews tomorrow, but one of those three are very iffy and the more I think about it the more iffy it becomes... yup, make that two interviews so far for tomorrow...

one of the interviews for tomorrow is for a job that found me and if I'm called for a second interview it will be January 15th the earliest... that is not good, but the job is... very... it will mean more changes than I had planned cuz it's in Daytona Beach... child is trying to hide the excitement about possibly living on the beach again... I miss the ocean... sharks?... we shall see...

and since I last rambled here there have been four more calls (I'm doing better keeping the phone free today... make note, two phones are essential to expedite an effective and efficient job search... next time, we hope)... a direct care position I rejected, two more MLM commission sales deals, and one I'll probably take if it's available even if I must leave for the better one next month...

remember that one house manager position that I mentioned yesterday that was a few thousand more than the other one?... well, it's actually only two thousand more and I do a first interview for that on Thursday... an interesting position I might take if it's offered... amazing how these job searches go, tomorrow I do a first interview for an executive director position that pays at least three times what the better house manager position pays... that would be nice too J

  anyway, if more happens today I'll update later...
