...being some chronicles relating to what I do for money in this world...

"welcome to where time stands still
no one leaves and no one will
moon is full, never seems to change
just labeled mentally deranged
dream the same thing every night
I see our freedom in my sight
no locked doors, no windows barred
no things to make my brain seem scarred"

~ Metallica ~

yeah, the way out is through... excellent line... and I keep on keeping on... yesterday the nice lady from Tricon returned my call about the restaurant manager jobs (fast food, Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut)... alas, my indirect experience is an obstacle, however I have a tentative interview set up for just after the first of the year if I'm not happy with whatever I find before then... on a personal level, it sure would be a test of my will power J

I followed up on a few other calls, mostly leaving messages and nothing to write home about, even if I had a home (any good wizards out there?)... or cave, for that matter (flipping through channels I noticed the Flintstones and Betty was asking Wilma if she was caveless... the universe has an odd sense of humor... but then, that's nothing new)... gotta keep focused on reaching out...

and today I went for another interview, this one with an agency... Pro Staff (if you contact them let them know I referred you... they advertise a bonus for referrals, so why not mention it, right?)... the one position they had available was call center assistant manager and they wanted specific call center experience... maybe I ought to get some... anyway, they'll keep my resume around but I don't expect much out of them...

and here we are watching the clock tick down to the end of the millenium with me slowly running out of funds and options... my own personal armeggedon (I really oughta be in pictures, huh?... everything is so full of drama... and insane giggles from the peanut gallery... if only I could find some fun looney toons {one, just one would be nice} to play with... in my next life I might want to come back as a chair in a psychiatric center for adolescents and children... or maybe a blanket or pillow... seems that would be a good way to give a lot of comfort)...

ok, back to the serious job of finding a job...

J
