...being some chronicles relating to what I do for money in this world...

"all I've undergone, I will keep on
underneath it all
we feel so small
the heavens fall
but still we crawl
all I've undergone, I will keep on"

~ Nine Inch Nails ~

ok, so yesterday's property manager interview went well and they'll be setting up a second interview with the board of the non-profit organization that operates the HUD housing in the next couple of days... hopefully the recruiter will follow through as she said she would this week so I can know whether I have an offer on the table before the weekend (that'll help reduce stress)...

the ICF Manager job is evening shift (there goes any social life), which means it's not even a residence manager but a shift supervisor, another level down... and it pays several thousand less than the property manager job... I pretty much got an offer for the job, but we agreed it would be ok to wait until next week... I'll lean toward the higher salary unless some major unsatisfactory information comes out of the committee interview...

so now I play the waiting game for those jobs and continue sending out resumes for other jobs and stay as positive as possible...

next gear is knock on doors of the places I couldn't call and that'll happen next week if this week doesn't produce anything concrete... you can still help ya know... the resume, remember? http://home.att.net/~candor/resume.html

or just pass along a contact to me...

the offer still stands, dinner for the one who helps me find a job...

or a movie... or a massage (I'm flexible) J
