WORKLIFE PAGES
...being some chronicles relating to what I do for money in this world...

surprise, surprise

barring sudden changes, I report for work on Monday... the salary definitely could be better, but it's sales so it's a base plus commission... there is much growth planned for the company and they need management, so there's a good chance I might be tapped for promotion within a few months, possibly sooner...

of course it could be a telemarketing scam (as Nick thinks without knowing anything about it, but then he's naturally pessimistic and seems to enjoy finding and reporting problems {a real turn off for the optimist in me... so much wasted energy on negative perspectives}... being a natural detective, he'll probably spend a few evenings or longer checking the web (assuming I didn't) and making phone calls to check the company out... that could be helpful if he finds accurate information and presents it without too much negative skew) J

I figure if they pay me the first paycheck on time it serves it's purpose for a month or two until the other two jobs that pay more become available... and if it turns out to be the opportunity as it was presented, I'll enjoy the benefits and stay with it... I'll try to stay excited about exploring something new in spite of the wet blanket I live with J

(somehow I will keep smiling) J
