RAMBLING IN PROGRESS
ok, I'm in one of my why don't people just get it right moods... not quite enough for a full fledged rant (yes, Rantsville is still under construction)... just some grumbles trying to form words... yet I still feel my smile, so it's ok J
some people just don't seem able to read without assumptions and prejudice and projection and not being nurtured creatively but rather being "treated" clinically... a lot of people in this world would have institutionalized the greatest blues singers and artists of many genres if they actually met them and interacted with them even in text...
imagine wanting to cure Janis Joplin's angst... or Jim Morrison's... or Bessie Smith's... or Van Gogh's... or DaVinci's... or Socrates'...
they just want us to be normal... which means like them... and if we don't comply we're putting them down... or not cooperating or starting trouble... create art in their image and they'll love you... challenge them and they'll kill you, then love you for dying for them...
the saddest cut of all is they won't believe in you unless you have their flaws and weaknesses... and if you reflect their flaws and weaknesses even a little they nurture those weaknesses by focusing tons of energy on those weaknesses (and they tell you they're trying to help you and if you back away you're in denial)... but in fact the energy is their doubts about themselves passed along to you... projection, ya know?... draining energy, not nurturing energy... and in truth, they don't want to believe in you or anyone cuz they are afraid to believe in themselves...
it's a matter of perspective and awareness level and energy level... the more open an encompassing the awareness, the more others appear as I've described... and for me, "they" are just about every human being I've ever gotten close to in any way... for those with lower awareness levels someone who's aware of more might seem elitist or eccentric or flakey... it's a matter of seeing things differently and having different fundamental priorities, but most people like to categorize and judge it seems...
elitist, deluded, crazy, or just more aware?
