A Journal of Sorts

some may write for pleasure
some may write of pain
some may write of sunshine
some may write of rain
some may write to satisfy
a lesson or a cause
I write to express myself
and when you look upon my shelf
see all I ever was

so many pages in the pile I'm feeling a bit buried as the days pass and I want to keep writing and yet I want to put the pages on the web... looking around at the piles of files... there's at least a few dozen pages in or related to journals and heartbeats... if you were following the journal and heartbeats paths to get here, well then you probably already read those...

and there's a few hundred newsgroup and other group/list writings potentially going up... and then there's the past pending stuff from letters and public posts (a few hundred pages, at least)... and then there's the 1993-95 stuff on the other computer (tens of thousand pages, who knows how many actually deserve public display... sometimes I wonder if any do... sometimes I feel many do)... and then there's stuff I would be writing daily if I was all caught up on the past writings and actually doing nothing but writing in the present... and that's just the writings I currently have with me...

then, in storage, there's seven years of writing on yet another computer, which would include The Writers Exchange and Paper Fantasies, two newsletter magazines I published - and tens of thousands of pages or letters and rhymes... and then there's even more written with pen and paper before those computer years... the bulk of the written gardens... and where it all began...

there may never be enough time to create all the dreams I love to share once I find someone who wants to share them... but we'll die trying (dramatic sigh :)
