A Journal of Sorts
"and if you listen now, you might hear
a new sound coming in as an old one disappears
see the world in just one grain one sand
you better take a closer look
don't let it slip right through your hand
won't you please hear the call... the world says
put the message in a box, put the box in the car
drive the car around the world until you get heard"

(yawn)... waking up to an Elvis special... I haven't heard most of these songs in a long time... wow... and the changes keep on changing... it seems so old... hmmmmm (pondering deeply and all)... I wonder... is it perhaps because they are archaic and I am growing and evolving to higher energy levels of conscious awareness... or is maybe cuz I'm not doing the usual human maturation process and therein I am still in touch with the constant change of nature, life, the universe, and everything... and of course, screaming two year olds...

actually, it was the two year old's screams that woke me... the TV went on to drown out the eardrum pins... so I roll over and start typing... ah... now I see... it's a Behind The Music Marathon day on VH1 and they're focusing on Rock and Roll Heaven... in other words, a day full of bios of dead rock stars... seems the universe knew I was tapping into memories this week (of course... didn't you know VH1 programs their station based on my babblings?... ah, the burdens of being connected with all... what else would you like to know?)...

s'cuse me whilst I giggle at my ego ;)

I have been having some fun though... went to Fun n Wheels to ride the rides and go carts a couple of days ago... and yesterday did some lawnmowing and yard work (and some shopping for new sneakers since the old ones smelled like fertilizer once the yard word was done... the blessings of having a backyard dog... and Licky Dog had some walk time and play time and training time too... so anyway, it's a lazy afternoon around here... catching up on these pages and listening to some old music and some of the history...

wanna come over? J
