the ups and downs of meeting people (or trying to) are so puzzling... I received a call from someone who responded to my response to personal ads... we seemed to have basic interests in common (movies, for one)... hopefully there'll be time to talk and get together soon... that's looking up...
and the newsgroups are into the same old dysfunctional debates that have been going on for years... that's not looking up, especially when strangers I've never met try to make me part of the debate...
but in real life, the cable box broke again... that's no fun...
but the mailing lists are looking up, so people who's words I've come to respect are meeting each other online and they seem to like each other too J
so all in all, life's still the same... peaceful relaxing around here and hopeful for new friends and an expanding social life... and a soap opera online with healthy groups and unhealthy groups... and how's your life today?
