A Journal of Sorts
if I was a duck, home would be a pond
if I was a bird, home would be the sky
if I was a fish, home would be the sea
but I'm just a man, so my home is me
for home is inside, my heart and my mind
wherever my body might be
consciousness... senscience... awareness of being... of self in relation to others an the universe... I wonder how many other being have it, if any... perhaps it's relative and all beings have some at different levels... and perhaps some have much more than humanity... perhaps the question I'm pondering is how many beings are not satsfied with what they've got and reach or struggle or even fight for more, always more... this, at least behaviourally, seems to be the difference between humans and all the other living beings I've encountered so far... is it complacency vs. ambition?... accepted ignorance vs. insatiable curiosity?... or is it peace and security vs. insecurity and greed?...

well anyway, the first batch of invitations to the mailing lists went out today... hopefully some senscient beings will respond, join, and share some of that enlightenment I've heard tell about... actually, if this ball starts rolling it could be exciting as new people pop into my cyber world (and maybe offline world too if they're near enough and care to meet)... for this first step I sent invites to people I know well enough to know they would enough the list I chose them for if they have time... about 30 in total, though not everybody was invited to every mailing list... next step is to expand gradually into the rest of my address book... maybe I'll finally find out who I actually know in there and who actually wants to stay in there... how about you... wanna stay? J...
actually, I'm serious since there's more than a thousand people in the addy book and I've not communicated with most of them in more than a year cuz I was working so much last year... except for my rambling generic keep in touch letters, which most didn't respond to (maybe cuz I'd say I was too busy to breath?)... now that I have time to breath, I guess it's about time to wake up my sleeping addy book and respectfully find out who really wants to be there...
