I've wandered back to life offline again... and I've returning to reading other NGs... and I've returned to giving time to my written gardens and webpages (adding most than 200 pages to the pipeline that already had several hundred pages in it... when the log-jam finally clears it'll almost double my
sites)...
I went to a Microsoft Seminar for Windows 2000 today (free lunch)... I'll probably be buying a grown up computer as soon as Win2000 is offered - I don't want to deal with Win98 since it's just a matter of a couple of weeks... actually, they gave me a copy of the second Beta release of Win2000... don't have a machine to play with it on... minimum requirements are 300Mhz and 64MB RAM... wow, huh?... also got a free pen, training manuals and T-shirt...

The Sci-Fi channel had alien films on tonight... Fire In The Sky, Roswell, and Official Denial... all "B" movies, but I liked the twist concept of the last one... I won't tell unless asked privately since somebody might want to watch the film without knowing the end... it could have been done much better, but it really was a good idea even if it was done before in a different way... I didn't watch the first two, believe I've seen them before... gave this body a nap instead...
I lost my PO Box key... I gave it to my roommate to pick up my mail for me and I forget where I put it when he gave it back... it'll turn up... I'll ask for a duplicate next time I head over there... exciting life, huh? J
