"sooner or later facts are gonna come around
and make your mind up make your mind up for you
and you'll remember when life was all before you
fear came down and made up your mind for you
and you'll get used to any situation..."

ok, so maybe sometimes when I say I'll be gone for a bit, I'll actually be gone for a bit... there's plenty of babbling going on in the newsgroup, so when the sorting and editing and uploading is done, head over there... until then, you probably won't be reading this anyway cuz I'm not editing or uploading pages these days... wonder how long it'll take for me to be missed enough for inquiries... sometimes I wonder if anybody reads at all...

just in case you'd like to keep track of my newsgroup posts (you want to know me that well?... maybe you'll call me! J), by clicking on the following links you can review most of my posts and some responses:

to A.S.L. in 2000                   to other NGs in 2000
as ric   and   more                 as newsbee   and   more

the most recent 100 posts will show up first and you can flip through pages of past posts to your heart's content (are you as crazy as me?)... if you do this I'd appreciate knowing somebody actually cared to read them J

(I usually post in A.S.L. as ric... I usually post everywhere else as newsbee)

so anyway, I heard the other day that KFC (used to be Kentucky Fried Chicken, you know, the international bane-of-fowl-everywhere fast food fried chicken franchise) was actually forced to change their name to KFC because technically (scientifically and legally, I suppose) they no longer sell chicken... what, you say?... you've bought chicken at your local KFC?... well, no you haven't... not according to the legal beagles at the Food and Drug Administration...

but then, what do dogs know...

still, it appears true... I heard through some unknown sources that the FDA declared that what they sell is a genetically altered bird without feet or a beak or feathers (the easier to slice and dice and fry, my dear)... hence, not chicken... you can still pick up a bucket of not-chicken as they say it's not-dangerous, but it's not-chicken... a real coop, huh?...

see what you miss when I'm away? J
