it is about forgiveness...
I found an old friend in the mail today... a blast from the past... one of the deeper roots nurtured in the early nineties before the second coming of the end of the world came... she reminded me who I am... and where my faith is found... and why it's more challenging each year to find inspiration and to keep in touch... for it's innocence... unconditional love and trust... the stuff abundant in the hearts of most children... and then, I lost it...
and I blamed myself and I blamed someone else and I even blamed the children, the innocents, wondering if anyone is innocent, if innocence exists... a crisis of faith... who says you need some sort of god to have one? (why am I smiling?... maybe the tears are washing away the crusts of doubt that has run my down and literally weighed down my cheeks... there's always hope?)...
