there's always a deeper perspective, even when it's not mentioned or acknowledged... while it is true that for human consciousness, something must be at least thought to exist... there is that which is beyond human consciousness (and I suppose thinking about it now proves some point one way or another or maybe even every which way but especially obscure...

it's a matter of trust...

now some people trust in that which they can only think about... I think that satisfies the inner desire for secrets and power as something that can only be thought is all-powerful and totally within an individual's control, even if one does not acknowledge they are the only one in there and therein the only one who can decide...

of course most people just give up trying and pretend they don't understand...

and some don't
