breaking the hold of the promise made is a matter of faith in self and belief in the fact that you did everything you could do to keep the promise and you only withdraw from those aspects of the promise that are rendered not doable today because they depend on others decisions and those decisions are to prevent the promise from being completely continued... a promise between two requires cooperation between the two... alas, a gift can not be given if the intended recipient refuses it... so goes a promise turned away...

it becomes a secret kept... details of a sharing that is only continued inside because the other no longer shares... sometimes it's death that prevents continuation outside of the mind... sometimes it's something else...

need, or lack of need... desire, or lack of desire... too much or too little from one or the other or both and the relationship compatibility factors will not maintain balance... so either you fall together or you fall apart... falling together seems scarier to most than falling apart... it may be a trust issue...
