Lois is a friend to animals and a special person to Canisolida Mastiffs. Cindy met Lois when there was a mastiff named Pooh in need. Lois heard about Pooh & rescued her from a breeder. Pooh became Lois's benevolent protector, always covering her back, kicking butt and taking names later, ha ha. Lois has many rescue experiences, and not only with dogs! Among all of the many, many mastiffs and other breeds that she has been involved in fostering and advocating for, she has also nursed baby raccoons and a baby squirrel into young adulthood so that they could be released into their natural habitat once healthy and big enough. You are able to catch a glimpse here, of the raccoon babies and the squirrel baby she rescued. We are extremely proud to present to you this very special individual as our Person of the Year for 2007. Lois, you rock!

This is also a tribute to you, Pooh, so you can know that everyone loves your momma like you loved her!!!
