Dunleer Athletic Club

Encourages athletes of all standards to come to participate in the ADIDAS Ras Na h-Eireann race program. There is a special (open) senior race for those that wish to see the elite compete in the international event. Irish music is provided the night before and there is more music and dancing the night of the race. Travel from the USA (Flights from Boston, Chicago or New York $288 roundtrip!

  • Bed and Breakfast... Stay in family homes for less than $30 dolllars a night. Select "Bed and Breakfast. The location of the race is Louth. Drogheda is about 10 minutes away from Dunleer. Castlebelingham is also about 10 minutes from Dunleer. Cloherhead is a lovely small village by the Irish Sea, also 10 minutes from Dunleer. Carlingford is about 35 minutes away from Dunleer but is located near the Mourne Mountains. Dundalk is about 15 minutes away from Dunleer. There is also a couple of B & B's in Dunleer.
