    The ADIDAS Ras Na h-Eireann (Race of IRELAND) was founded in 1970 by Larry McGuill and the Dunleer Athletic Club. Since then it has developed into one of the premier Cross Country races in the world. In 1997 over 90 international athletes competed against Ireland's best. The 1998 program of events will included Mens and Womens races for Senior, Junior, and all childrens age groups. All runners local and from abroad are welcome to Dunleer
