There are no limits on medical necessary services and medication to children.  It matters not that the state has not chosen to provide the necessary service to adults.  If the federal government covers the service (and it covers nearly any type of medically necessary service), the state must provide it to the child.

There can be required prior authorization and services can be mandated in the most cost efficient manner or location.
