"THE MASQUERADE PARTY"

based upon an apocryphal  story

Written by

Bruce Wayne Gillies

Arriving home and feeling sickly DENISE SENSAR listens to her husband's message on the machine reminding her of the "...costume party tonight."

Next thing she knows her husband, CHARLIE, is standing over her.  Denise is unable to attend with Charlie,  and he sets off without her company.

After a spell, Denise finishes a phone conversation with her mother and decides she's feeling well enough to attend after all.

Charlie looks to be having the time of his life when Denise finally arrives.  She's spots him flirting with several girls and she decides to surprise him by seducing him herself.

He's a pushover and before you know it - they are in a darkened bedroom going at it.  So quickly, in fact, they don't bother to remove their costumes.

Soon after the encounter Denise leaves in disgust and waits for Charlie at home.  Charlie is given the third degree as soon as he arrives, "... how was the party,  ... did you meet anyone?"   Charlie answers with vagueness but comments that, "... the guy I let borrow my costume said he had one helluva time..."
