"GHOST TOWN" an original screenplay Written by Bruce Wayne Gillies Young KIP BATTON, on a field trip with his church, is left alone with his little sister and his best friend and no way to get home in this family adventure-comedy, GHOST TOWN. Kip and EDDIE DESKIN, his best friend, ride in the back of the church bus. KATRINA BATTON, Kip's sister, rides in front and listens to MRS. LUGER explain ground rules for the trip. BLINKIE WEAMUN drives; he's a midget who blinks endlessly. Mrs. Luger first meets up with a pathetic, uneducated MAINARD PEW, a gun-slinging yahoo. JAY DEE WALLOP, the slick leader, interrupts sending Mrs. Luger and her children off on their way. BELLE LARABEE, Jay Dee's girlfriend, invites the group to stay. Meanwhile, Blinkie finds some powerful drink in the saloon. On the main street is KILLER COBB, an old prospector. Jay Dee warns that Killer Cobb is dangerous and unpredictable. The children listen cautiously before touring the town with Belle. Later Jay Dee explains that Mrs. Luger she must leave at once. Mrs. Luger now must drive the bus back due to Blinkie's condition. She mistakenly leaves Kip, Eddie, and Katrina behind. At first, the threesome horse around. After tiring Kip wants to contact Jay Dee for help when he discovers that this GHOST TOWN is really a front for "black market" CD-ROM pirates. Kip decides to haunt the pirates out of town. The children are befriended by Killer Cobb in their crusade. Mrs. Luger finally returns home to the shrieks of Kip and Katrina's mom and dad, KEN and KIM BATTON. They drag Mrs. Luger back out to the desert to find their children. The children are scaring the pirates with ghosts stories. While frightening Jay Dee, something goes wrong and Katrina is taken prisoner. Kip challenges them to a showdown. Ken and Kim are sent on a wild goose chase. SHERIFF REX Q. ROCK comes to their rescue, but can't help until daybreak. At first light, Kip wins the showdown with Mainard, saving his sister. They lock the pirates up and wait for help. Sheriff Rock comes through big on his promise with support from army pal JAKE SCOUT. In the end, Kip captures the pirates and returns to the safety of his parents. Killer Cobb overcomes his personal goal, and Mrs. Luger is given her due.
