This interactive map has a VERY cool feature in that after you select an area that you are interested in, you can choose "aerial photos" view. First zoom in to about 1:25000 or 1:10000...Then select Aerial Photos. Try it! If your recollections are REALLY accurate, maybe you can find something familiar.
