It is important to remember that the coaches do not consider swimming or diving
at Westfield to be the primary focus of a student.  A commitment to your sport should
always be at the most, secondary to a commitment to your education.
For this reason, the coaches have made this page available in an effort to focus
the attention of Westfield swimmers and divers on the important task of obtaining
and continuing a high-quality education.  The information below will provide
some excellent resources for ensuring that we are all headed in the right direction.

Diving or Swimming in College

Do you hope to compete at the college level in swimming or diving?
If you do, you should respond to Coach Andersen ASAP.  A list of prospective college athletes will be forwarded to the guidance department. Once identified, it is our hope that every effort will be made to make sure you qualify for the NCAA Clearinghouse and understand the VHSL requirements.  For more about NCAA requirements, go to the Forms & Links page.
