Georgetown, U.   Crews launch out of Thompson's Boat Center, 2900 Virginia Ave NW, Washington, DC 20037(202)333-4861 which is located at the bend in the Potomac just upstream from the Kennedy Center. Parking is very limited. Try the area around the Kennedy Center or in Georgetown, then walk down to the river. Alternately, you could park in Rosslyn and watch from the Key Bridge, which is 1000m into the 1500m course. This is a unique vantage point and gives the opportunity for great photos. Top

Herndon, HS    700 Bennett St., Herndon, VA 20170, (703) 810-2200 -- Rte 7 (West). LEFT on Dranesville Rd. LEFT on Bennett Rd. School is on the Left.

Hylton, HS   14051 Spriggs Road, Woodbridge, VA 22193 703-580-4000 --                      From Rt.28: Take Route 28 towards Manassas.  Turn left on Liberia Ave.  Follow Liberia Ave and turn left onto Prince William Parkway.  Follow Prince William Parkway turn right onto Hoadly Road at the stoplight.   Follow Hoadly Road straight through the stoplight at Dale Boulevard and look for Spriggs Road on your left. (No stop light.)  Turn Left onto Spriggs Road and follow approximately 2 miles.   You will pass Saunders Middle School on your left.  Hylton will be about a mile beyond Saunders on the left.                      From Rt.29: Take Route 29 North.  As you approach the town of Gainesville, just before the I-66 interchange you need to turn right on Wellington Road.  There is an Exxon station and a stop light at that intersection.  Follow Wellington Road to the stoplight at Route 234 (Dumfries Road).  Take a right on to Rt. 234.  Follow to a stoplight at Hoadly Road.  It is just across from a Food Lion shopping center on the right.  Take a left onto Hoadly Road and follow two miles until you see Spriggs Road on your right.  Turn right on Spriggs Road and follow for 2 miles.  You will pass Saunders Junior High on your left first.  Hylton will be the next school on the left.                      From Rt.66: Take I-66 to the Manassas Route 234 Exit – Manassas Bypass Exit (NOT THE BUSINESS EXIT).  Follow Route 234 Bypass about 14 miles to a stoplight at Hoadly Road.  It is just across from a Food Lion shopping center on the right.  Take a left onto Hoadly Road and follow two miles until you see Spriggs Road on your right.  Turn right on Spriggs Road and follow for 2 miles.  You will pass Saunders Junior High on your left first.  Hylton will be the next school on the left. School is on the Right.      Parking Options for 2004 Fall Season: Due to the amount of parking space that LBSS has lost to renovation, especially the blacktop, the administration would like to offer some alternatives to parking for some fall events. The following options should hopefully help alleviate some of the parking issues. Police officers will be available at these sights throughout events.      Option One: - St. Stephens United Methodist, 9203 Braddock Rd, Burke, VA - Parking in main parking lot - School is within walking distance (.5 mi.).Walk through Dunleigh community. There will be two back gates open convenient to the stadium where tickets will be collected. No shuttle buses available.      Option Two: - White Oaks Elementary, Shiplett Dr., Burke, VA - Park in the side parking lot. - Two county buses available for shuttling to LBSS and back.      Football game shuttles will begin to leave from White Oaks to LBSS at 6:30. Returning aprox. every 15 minutes for more pick-ups until 8:00pm. Buses will be in the school drive way at White Oaks for departure and pickup.      Buses will be in front of gate to blacktop at the end of the game for departure 15 minutes after the game.         **If games are rescheduled to Saturday because of inclement weather we cannot offer the parking options at White Oaks or St. Stephens.
