What is a "Junior"? - Who We Are
"LIKE A BUTTERFLY’S METAMORPHOSIS, CONNECTICUT JUNIORS IS A LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE"
~ Anna Henry, CJW Director 2004-2006

We are women just like you - generous, caring and talented - who share our skills through various committees within our club. Members choose which projects they work on and how much time they wish to spend on club activities.

A member of Connecticut Junior Women, Inc. (CJW), our members are a part of a whole. Each member is not only a club member, but also a member of CJW. Our club is part of the Mountain Laurel District, which is comprised of the following clubs:

Junior Women's Club of Berlin
The Junior Women's Club of Bristol
Cheshire Junior Women's Club
Junior Women's Club of Plainville
Junior Women's Club of Southington
Waterbury Junior Women's Club
Junior Women's Club of Wolcott
and Wolcott Juniorettes.

As a member of a service organization, we have the ability to change our own lives as well as the lives of others. Juniors are involved in leadership activities on local, district and state levels as well as being involved in other areas of interest. Do you have a hobby? Then you have something in common with a "Junior". Our members are involved with Arts, Conservation, and Education to name a few areas. Some serve in public offices and others simply share their experience, interests, and knowledge with others. Each member has something to share with others and something to learn from others.

Come share with us your experience, interests and knowledge.
