Would you like to put a smile on a child's face? How about helping a family be able to have a Thanksgiving dinner or providing Christmas presents for children that wouldn't otherwise have anything to open on Christmas Day? What about baking cookies for residents of nursing and convalescent homes for Valentine's Day? These are all projects that The Junior Women's Club of Bristol, Inc. does each year. You can help with these projects and more, all while building new friendships and developing leadership and organizational skills that will last a lifetime. The best part is, you can have fun at the same time! Become a "Junior" and you can utilize your creativity and develop your potential by working with other women like yourself on projects that impact your community in positive ways. Of course, if you'd like to donate directly to us you can do that as well. Since we are comprised completely of volunteers, we have little to no overhead expenses. Therefore, virtually 100% of donations received are used for our programs. Donations for Time for Life are the only exception, as there are inherent administrative costs associated with this project. We are a non-profit organization which is exempt from federal taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and has received a ruling that donors (businesses or individuals) may deduct contributions of cash, goods and services made to our club as provided in section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
