Warranties and Disclaimers
Unless otherwise noted the above hay has been cured properly, should store well and is relatively free of foreign objects. If it is determined that the hay is not fit to feed the seller will replace it with comparable hay if it has been stored properly. However, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to evaluate the hay as bales are opened and to discontinue its use if the hay is not fit to feed. The seller assumes no liability beyond the cost of the hay.
Blister beetles are rare in northern Illinois and the risk of contamination is minimal. This risk can be further minimized by buying early cuttings (1st or early 2nd) which are cut pre-bloom. While no beetles have been observed in the hay fields, the seller does not certify that this hay is free of blister beetles.
