The Department of Parks and Recreation manages and
maintains 27 parks and recreation facilities
on more than 5,500 acres of county land


Department of Parks and Recreation Union County's public park system has 27 parks and other facilities on more than 5,500 acres. Some of the activities include hiking, walking, horseback riding, fishing, ice skating, swimming, and a wide variety of family programs. Special services include rental of a portable bandwagon and sound system, beer permits, boat licenses, facility rentals and picnic and ball field reservations.
